School Departmental Improvement Plan (DIP)

School \’Departmental Improvement Plan\’

Departments are advised to take self-evaluation extremely seriously. If audits of performance are not undertaken it is impossible to identify improvement priorities.

The processes of self-evaluation and improvement planning are continuous and documentation is constantly updated.

The Head of Department / Curriculum Advisor / Specialist produces and updates the Departmental Self Evaluation Form and this becomes part of The School / Academy Improvement Plan (See also SIP).

In addition to examination results and student assessment data, teacher observation, scrutiny of marking and curriculum review contribute to our judgements.
