Who We Are
Raedan Institute is a registered charity founded in 2006 and based at 2 Overton Road, Leicester LE5 0JA. Originally established in Lancashire, the charity relocated to Leicester in 2019 and has grown significantly — from £4,626 income in its first year to over £295,000 in 2024/25, serving thousands of individuals from all backgrounds across the city and beyond.
The charity is led by Mohamed Sidat BA MA PGCE NPQEL as Chair, with a committed board of trustees. Raedan Institute holds NACCC Full Membership (No. 1837/2) and operates an AQA Examination Centre (No. 25369), reflecting its commitment to quality and professional standards across all its services.

Academica Mentoring and Raedan Institute
Academica Mentoring and Raedan Institute share the same founding vision — that education is the most powerful tool for individual and community transformation. Mohamed Sidat leads both organisations, bringing his 20+ years of educational expertise to bear across both the commercial training programmes of Academica Mentoring and the charitable work of Raedan Institute.
Proceeds from Academica Mentoring's training programmes and consultancy services help fund and support the charitable objectives of Raedan Institute — creating a virtuous cycle where professional development income directly benefits community welfare.
